Fat Free, Sugar Free, Rich Hot Chocolate Recipe

Jace has been very sick for the past couple days so we haven’t been able to leave the house.  It has been nice to just sit inside, snuggled up in our warm PJS and cushy socks while the weather outside has been cold, rainy, and cloudy.

I found this recipe so we could drink hot chocolate to our heart’s content without emerging  from the apartment hippos once the sickness has passed.  It is DELICIOUS and fat free and sugar free!  What could be better?  And you can add in various things like crushed candy-canes, vanilla extract, raspberry extract– anything!  We are going to be drinking ALOT of this this winter!

Homemade Hairspray Recipe

Trevor always takes the hairspray to the car, and I needed it just now when I was doing my hair, but he was gone with the car and hairspray.  So I looked to see if I could just make my own and I found a simple recipe that works AWESOME!  It is just 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1/3 C hot water.  You put it in a spray bottle, and shake it to dissolve it, and BAM!  Homemade hairspray!  And it works great– it holds really well, isn’t sticky, and makes your hair shiny!  I might not ever buy any again!  They said to be careful, though, because it will attract hornets.  hahaha  Freaky!

Suttner Family Pictures!

This past weekend all of the Suttner family was together for the first time in TWO years!  My sister Lia and her family live in Connecticut so we rarely get to see them.  It was so fun to be together with everyone!  We took family pictures to commemorate (something we haven’t done in like… eight years or so). I have four sisters and three brothers, and then there are Lia’s three girls, Jace, and Lia’s husband, Justin.  It was a bummer Trevor wasn’t there!

Kinsi’s boyfriend took the pictures and was a real trooper because he isn’t a photographer and had no idea we were going to ask him to do it.  We just handed him my camera and told him to shoot.  He did his best and some turned out pretty cute!

The weekend was super fun!  We drove down to St. George Thursday night.  I dropped Jini off at my families and then continued on to Las Vegas to drop Trevor off at the airport so he could fly to Florida for Thor and Shanna’s wedding, then I turned right around and went back to St. George.  So I didn’t sleep at all that night (we left at midnight and I arrived in St. George at 8am after dropping Trevor off).  It was too exciting to be at my families house, so I didn’t even take a nap! Lia and Justin’s family got there Friday and it was soooooo fun to see how big the girls had gotten!  We had never even seen Katherine, and she is now 10 months!  The girls were soooooooo cute!

The next day we went to Chari’s soccer game and they lost– we were expecting them to take state– bummer!  Chari still played awesome!  Then we cooked up a frenzy and celebrated Thanksgiving and had a huge amazing feast– I LOVE Thanksgiving!  That night my dad had to fly back to Ohio so I took him to the airport then visited the Chapmans until Trevor flew in the next day.  Thanks for the birthday gifts!

I picked up Trevor then we got to my family’s house at midnight to get Jini and head back up to Provo, and they had all stayed up to wish Trevor a happy birthday!  They had made a coconut cake shaped like Mt. Everest complete with tinfoil climber and all!  haha It was really cute!  I then drove us up to Provo and we got here at 4:30am and I thought I was going to die.  But we survived and had a great weekend!  I love it when my whole fam can get together!  Happy Birthday, Trevor!  I am glad we could be together for at least a couple hours to celebrate!

Thailand Pictures!

Hey Everyone!  Some say it is totally ridiculous that it has taken me so long to get any word up about Thailand… and I have no response!  Sorry!!  We have been SOOOOOOOO busy!

I put a bunch of pics up on Facebook with descriptions of what is going on in each one.  Here is the link!   And you can view the album even if you don’t have facebook.  We had a BLAST!!!

We’re back from THAILAND!!

We JUST walked in the door– it is 7:10pm Sunday night.  It was the vacation of a LIFETIME!!!  I can’t WAIT to update with all the details and pics, but I am just tooooooo exhausted to do it now, so check back tomorrow.

But real quick– a few things we did; we went on an ELEPHANT treck through the JUNGLE!!  Yeah, that’s right– we were riding elephants’ HEADS through the jungles of Thailand!!!  And we took a native longtail boat to an island inhabited only by MONKEYS!  And we played with them and fed them and held them like babies!!  And we got hour long Thai massages for $8.00!  IT WAS AMAZING!  We did SOOOO much and I will update with everything, but now I need to sleep.  But we are alive and unkidnapped!  Hoorah for us!

We’re in Thailand!
