Here’s a brief update on Easter! We went down to St. George on Friday and played with the family and it was SO fun because we made chocolate easter eggs. We took eggs and blew out the insides and drilled holes in them and boiled them to sterilize the insides, died them, and then we filled them with melted chocolate. They looked like regular hardboiled easter eggs but when you opened them up– BAM! A big chocolate egg! It was awesome! It was so cute how much fun Boe and Gabe had doing them. They are so precious! On Easter we all got ready for church and we were so excited because it was going to be Gabe’s first time passing the sacrament because he received the Priesthood the previous Sunday when he turned 12. It was about 20 minutes before church started and Gabe was complaining that his stomach really hurt and then all of a sudden he ran to the bathroom and puked for like 5 minutes. It was gross. So, he had to stay home from church and we think Trevor got what he had because Trevor had to leave after sacrament. Doesn’t it seem that people are always getting the flu on Easter in our family? Church was really fun but Trevor usually takes care of him during church to give me a break but since he was home sick, I got the full load of Jace’s church wrath which I am not used to– it sure made me appreciate Trevor taking Jace! After church we had mom’s incredible garlic and clove roasted ham which was AMAZING and then we had an Easter Egg hunt for Boe and Jace. They had actually already had a neighborhood Easter Egg hunt on Thursday so we just had a little one on Sunday. I dressed Jace up in his duck costume and helped him find candy. It was so cute watching him find candies because he would waddle up to a piece of candy, get all excited pointing at it, then pick it up and run over to someone to give it to them; he is so sharing! Finally he got the hang of putting them in the bag and he had a great time! I think Boe felt kind of felt goofy being the only one finding Easter candy besides a one year old. It’s lame for him that he’s the youngest– he has to do everything alone. After that it was SOOOOO funny because we were all laying out in the sunshine eating candy and Jace would put candy in his mouth and then feed it to Chari like a mommy bird and he was bending down to feed it to her and it fell out of his mouth onto the dry grass and got dry grass ALL over it. So, he started picking the grass off the taffy and putting it in Chari’s mouth— this gooy mass of dry grass and runny taffy. It was SOOOO hilarious! He thought he was doing so well and he was so proud of himself! Oh and it was HILARIOUS when he sat on Boe’s head!!!! Oh my goodness– I took his Duck costume off him and then he took off his diaper so he was just enjoying life running around in the sunshine, totally bare, eating candy. Well, Boe was laying on the ground on his back with us and Jace ran over and sat his bare little hind end flat on his face. It was HILARIOUS!! We were all laughing our guts out and Boe was freaking out and we were like, “He’s a baby!! Let him sit there!” So he had to be a man and deal with this bare little booty on his face– it was SOOOOO funny! Oh and while we were all laying there eating candy Gabe hopped up and puked his guts out again in the gravel and then about 15 minutes later mom went over in her bare feet to get the mail and stepped all in it. Oh! On Saturday night we went to Timmy Sommerville’s and Stephanie Bonewell’s wedding. They got married in the temple and
